Ask About Training
Hands-on learning and exposure to useful activities.

Activities that encourage participation and self-expression.

Supporting students as they prepare for independent living and future opportunities.
Skill development gives visually impaired students another pathway toward confidence and independence. Practical learning allows students to experience how knowledge can be applied in real situations, while structured activities can help them develop concentration, communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities. At Bhartiya Netraheen Vidyalaya, training is positioned as a complement to education and as an important part of preparing students for life beyond school.
Vocational exposure can take different forms depending on the learner’s interests, age and abilities. Some students may benefit from practical activities that develop everyday self-reliance, while others may want to explore skills that can later support employment or entrepreneurship. The purpose is not to place every student on the same path, but to provide opportunities to discover strengths and build useful capabilities.
A good training environment also needs encouragement. Students should be able to practise without fear of failure, receive guidance when something is difficult and recognise their own progress. Repetition, hands-on experience and positive feedback can turn unfamiliar tasks into skills that feel achievable. This is especially important when students are learning ways to navigate environments or tools that have not been designed with visual impairment in mind.
Families and supporters who want to understand the current training opportunities are encouraged to contact the school. Programme availability can change with each academic session, so the team can provide the most accurate information about eligibility, schedule and current activities. Through practical learning and continued encouragement, the school aims to help students move from dependence toward greater confidence and participation.
